岗位职责： Role purpose This role ensures the smooth daily management of logistics operations for movements to and from Syngenta and third party loading points in the China and JANZ region from and to other regions and Syngenta sites or customers or within the region itself by closely monitoring the performance of the Global Modes (i.e. sea, air) 4PL provider and to support initiatives that will improve the level of logistics services and reduce logistics costs. The incumbent will ensure the consistent and compliant day-to-day effectiveness of Global Modes 4PL provider by following structured governance models and any operational and business reviews. The position will act as a liaison point for all issues raised in China and JANZ region associated with the 4PL. Accountabilities: •Will ensure the continuous review of 4PL performance through KPIs and monthly operation review. •Will ensure that any agreed and documented corrective and preventive long term actions for any issues or non-conformances related to 4PL are upheld and completed. •Will support any continuous improvement initiatives identified and mutually agreed upon by the Global Modes 4PL. Will ensure that new initiatives are reviewed based on agreed gain share model and the development of all initiatives monitor frequently, including actual vs targeted $ saving values, identifying and escalating for any deviations from budget. •Will ensure continuous enhancement of all processes associated with the 4PL provider and maintain full ownership and control for documented SOPs and working instructions within their scope of responsibility. •Will ensure that 4PL and contracted 3PL adhere to all business and Syngenta codes of practices •Supports global Transport Specialist Air & Ocean in monitoring and obtain sufficient understanding of global freight market movement especially in air & ocean freight area. Active participation in global tender preparation, and ongoing space and equipment review with 4PL team. •Supports sustainability initiative on logistics decarbonization by being ambassador, contributing idea, participate in design and roll out of the project. 任职要求： Critical Knowledge: •Solid knowledge of logistics, air & ocean transport having dealt with international operators (forwarders and or carriers) actively in the respective transportation mode in imports and exports out of China & JANZ •Logistics experience in movement of dangerous goods •Supplier management expertise •Good knowledge of processes linked to logistics (e.g. warehousing, customs, order management) and practices of SAP SD/MM and MS office •Training in IMDG, IATA and ADR dangerous good transportation regulation would be a plus •Good logistics market insights (air and sea freight focus) •Fluent in English (written and spoken) Critical Experience: •5+ years professional experience in Logistics operations (air and/or ocean freight) •A successful track record working with the delivery of outsourced services •International experience working with large multi-nationals •Used to work in a complex, cross functional business environment •Broad and comprehensive knowledge of logistics air & ocean transport having dealt with international operators (forwarders and or carriers) active in the respective transportation mode at multi countries level within a regulated transport industries on dangerous goods along with a clear understanding of compliance and application of best practice in the chemicals/pharma logistics business sector •Good knowledge of processes linked to logistics (e.g. warehousing, customs, order management) and practices of SAP SD/MM and MS office with a particular advanced know how and practices on Excel •Sense of urgency, balanced, with sense of priorities •Be an operational, hands-on person with the ability to lead oneself and collaborate across boundaries •Be decisive and quick-thinking with an excellent ability to dig into details while bringing a generic straight forward and understandable story line for leaders to take decision based on eventual recommendations or highlights •Have strong analytics acumen, energy, drive and persistence •Have excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work in a complex and highly matrix organization •Lead through collaboration, interaction and influencing
