Job Description The Project Manager role is for an experienced candidate to join our growing Asic service team. The person in this position provides the central point of coordination for planning and delivery of SoC product (RTL, Firmware, Software) within Project Lifecycle Management process. The candidate can locate in Shanghai or Shenzhen. Responsibilities for this role will include: •Management of project initiation, planning, resourcing, execution, delivery acceptance and close. •Delivery of projects to defined scope, cost, schedule and quality commitments through balancing risk, its mitigation and taking a coordinated approach to accommodating change. •Close coordination with the Technical Lead, Engineering Managers, Product Manager and Project Management Office. •Monitor and control project delivery performance, taking necessary mitigation steps against arising issues and risks. •Project alignment and coordination with interrelated projects. •Effective engagement and communication with a wide range of stakeholders, internally and externally. Essential skills and experience: •Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science, electronic engineering, or equivalent. •2 to 5 years of project management experience in hardware and/or software engineering field. •Project Management qualification certificate(s) such as PMP, Prince2, ACP etc. •Ability to integrate a coordinated project plans both top-down and bottom-up with the engineering team. •Rich experience of integration of project cost, schedule, scope, quality, risk, and resources. •Consistent record of project performance as a Project Manager, with successful delivery of engineering projects throughout a complete lifecycle. •Active risk management, understanding of risk and how risk might impact projects and be mitigated. •Experience of balancing change and project performance variance throughout project delivery. •Ability to concisely summarize complex technical issues. •Collaboration effectively with geographically diverse teams with multiple strengths. •Effective interpersonal skills, both written and verbal in Chinese and English. Desirable skills and experience: •A good understanding of hardware and software development lifecycles waterfall, iterative and agile. •Ideally you have an engineering background or experience in a technical role in a hardware and/or software development context. Engineering experience in Silicon/IP and SoC field will be a plus. •Working knowledge of project management toolsets such as Microsoft Project, Jira, confluence, versioning, and documentation tools etc. •Self-motivated and dynamic, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
